Burkholderia ambifaria MCI 22 is a beneficial bacterium isolated from maize rhizosphere in Italy (https://doi.org/10.1016/S0168-6496(98)00069-5). The picture illustrates its antagonistic activity against Fusarium culmorum in the in vitro test (King’s B medium). On the left, Fusarium culmorum alone (control plate); on the right, the fungus and the bacterium (test plate).
